Data & sync

Why numbers may differ, how often we refresh, and reading the dashboard.

New orders are pulled every 15 minutes. Fees and finance events refresh every few hours, inventory refreshes at least hourly, and advertising data refreshes hourly (Amazon itself can report ad metrics with a delay). Storage fees sync daily, and settlement reports - Amazon's authoritative fee statement - are reconciled daily.

You will see most numbers move within minutes of an order shipping; settlement-level adjustments (returns posted late, reserve releases) settle in over 24-48 hours, matching Amazon's own report cycle.

Three legitimate sources of drift exist between any two Amazon analytics tools:

1. Timezone. Amazon US closes its sales day at midnight Pacific. Tools that bucket by UTC will show a different daily split. We use Pacific Time for US, matching Seller Central. 2. Fee timing. Some fees post days after the order ships (storage, long-term, reserve adjustments). Tools that ignore late-posting events will look 'cleaner' but understate true cost. 3. Refund classification. Refunds where the item was not returned are labeled 'Refund Without Return' and shown separately from customer returns. Other tools may group these differently, so return counts can differ even when the refunded money matches.

If your delta is more than a few percent, open a ticket and we will reconcile the specific period.

It can be - especially right after onboarding. Our historical sync runs in smaller windows; when a window is delayed we automatically retry, but the order in which windows land is not strictly chronological.

Give an account up to 2 hours after the initial connect for backfill to fully stabilize. If a specific date is still empty after that, send us the date range in a ticket.

Yes. Most tables in the dashboard (orders, products, fees breakdown, ads performance) have an Export button in the top-right. Choose CSV, Excel (XLSX), or PDF.

Exports follow the filters, date range, and marketplace selected on that page.

Recent days are still moving. Amazon can update order status, shipping, refunds, fees, ad spend, and settlement adjustments after the sale first appears. SellerGenix keeps active days live so profit becomes more accurate as the missing records arrive.

For month-end review, use settled dates rather than the current day.

Pending orders may not have final item, shipping, or fee records yet. SellerGenix uses the best available order details first, then replaces estimates with posted records as the order ships and finance events arrive.

Product images and catalog details sync separately from orders. New ASINs can appear in sales tables before the catalog snapshot finishes.

If an ASIN still has no image after the setup checklist is complete, open a ticket with the ASIN and marketplace.

Exports follow the filters, date range, marketplace, and table scope shown on that page. Dashboard cards may use a broader summary scope than the row-level table below them.

Before comparing, confirm the same period, marketplace, currency, product filter, and dashboard view are selected.
